Is there a solution for cold start 6.4 liter gas lifter ticking at cold temperatures? Sounds god aweful and I'm sure for long term durability it's not prefered.

Add a pre-oiler. I think Canton makes one. I had one on an old race car.

I have a 2022 6.4 hemi with 25,000 miles on it now. I rarely hear the tick anymore. I use the Penzoil 0w-40 and 89 octane gas. I didn't think the engine ran well until about 18,000 miles. There are lots of videos about lifter design in this engine, keep your idle time down. I still wonder what my engine condition will be at high miles.

My oil consumption has dropped to less than 0.2 quarts per thousand.
It was 0.7 quarts when it was new.
