Soft Open Tailgate?

I tried the remote tailgate open from the cab and was a bit surprised how it sorta flopped open. Not an important feature to me anyway, but I guess I thought it would work more smoothly.

Mine opens slowly and smoothly. It takes about 3 seconds to drop completely

Time to have the dealer look at it. Something isn't right.

I've noticed mine drops a lot quicker when it's really hot, but that's to be expected and still slow enough that it's not just banging open.
