So I have a 2021 75th AE PW on order. Winds up my dealer did not include the tri fold cover from the factory as at the time, it seemed the trucks were getting delayed if the cover was ordered.
My buddy has Limited 1500 with the factory cover. I assume the factory covers are all made the same. I like the way it looks and locks in. It's also easy to remove when you need to haul a full bed load.
But in my search on line, I've seen some covers at half the price of the factory. I know, you get what you pay for. But is the factory one that much better? I also noticed that the price is less on Mopar parts than it is if you order the option when you order a truck thru RAM Trucks.
My current truck has a BAKflip cover on it. While it is nice, it is heavy, and even heavier when you want to remove it to carry a big load. Also you have some weird clamps to hold down the rails in the bed. Or you can do like I did on my current truck and bolt them down. But I don't want to go that route this time.
So I'm looking for input of brands to look at. Any input or links are greatly appreciated.
Thanks
