Smell hot rubber

Can smell hot rubber sometimes when exiting truck near driver side rear door. Tires are cool, no heavy brake use. Outside temp. Under 40 Fahrenheit. 2020 ram 3500 diesel, with aisin trans. Still having issues with service electronic stability control message randomly flashing also but no code and nothing stored in messages

Regen? I know my 17 get super hot during a regen cycle and all kinds of weird smell when Regen kicks in.

Don't worry it is just a region . I have smelled it driving mine also. Usually when shutting down before the region is complete.
