SiriusXM is relentless

Glad to oblige!

I suppose it could have been FOX or MSNBC.

I've had the 2021 3500 for two months now and Sirius sends me letters constantly. We've tried it out when boondocking and it was nice to get CNN updates so we weren't in the dark. The music selections and commercials suck, although we enjoy the 60's and 70's music. I guess if ESPN is your thing it might be worth it. On forest service roads the signal drops out frequently, which takes away from the experience. We're long term Spotify folks and have downloaded playlists on phones and a tablet, which we mostly play on our bluetooth speaker in the camper or outside. After the free year, I won't renew.
you are still in the dark with CNN

$78 a year including taxes and royalities.
So 6.50 a month. I bet most people would take that deal especially if it were a long term deal where they did not have to renegotiate every 6 months.

I have it because of a lifetime plan I bought years ago, but at this price for a 3 year term I would probably do it.

I end up paying $12x.xx, once a year, for XM Platinum. I like Howard, I like all the sports, really like a handful of music stations, and the comedy/talk-radio and news is a bonus.

Plus being able to drive nearly anywhere, and not have to fiddle with different stations is great.

It is annoying to have to keep in mind when you need to call and threaten to cancel, etc. But, I've never been on the phone more than 5 minutes doing that. Easily worth my time. And the few times I've forgotten, they instantly refunded me and then hooked me up with the same programming I've always had for like 1/3 of the price. Easy-peasy.

I drive about 10 hours a day and love having it in the truck. But they suck to deal with. I traded in a tundra for the ram last oct. Called them and cancelled the truck radio. Got a call last month that I still owed them 12$ since the head unit I cancelled was the after market unit I installed in 2017 and the OEM that I initially started the subscription with wasn't cancelled. So they waited almost four years to hunt me down for 12$. Even tho I had a active subscription for the after market unit. Being talked down to by some customer service rep was the last straw. Right now they are the only game in town, but as soon as I can get patriot radio another way, I'll be out.

Getting so many commercials on the channels I listen to, when my free subscription is up - I'm cancelling. Ain't paying to listen to commercials, enough of that crap with cable TV.
I have another truck without SiriusXM. When I'm in that one, it's quite stunning the commercials I hear on regular terrestrial radio. If you listen broadcasts from Cable on SiriusXM, there's going to be commercials. There's no way to avoid that. Their straight music channels like 60s on 6, 70s on 7, 80s on 8, The Bridge or other similar music only channels don't have comercials that I'm aware of.

I used to have 4 subscriptions to SiriusXM. I was paying way too much for the poor quality of the music. Way too much compression if you venture off the main musice channels. I dumped all my subscriptions except for my free 1 yr subscription but still only use Spotify now. I make sure I have music downloaded and I have a USB stick in the other port as backups for when I am out of cellular range.

My free subscription ends at the end of this month. The amount of emails and letters I have received to renew is immense. I don't see myself renewing. I would renew Guardian if they didn't want so damn much though.

We have a Google Family account, includes YouTube Music. Can add 6 people, $15 mo. We split the bill with in-laws.

We have the same and do really like it. Just added YouTube TV recently and so far so good. I do really like their unlimited cloud DVR.

My Sirius trial is ending so I guess I will have to deal with that soon.

I did just cancel the TV portion of our Spectrum service, keeping the cable internet. That was not easy. Now I just have to find a lawyer so I can sue the "Spectrum Customer Retention" department for INTENTIONAL INFLICTION OF EMOTIONAL DISTRESS!!!

I typically trade before my trial runs up, however if you tell them the vehicle was traded/sold then the calls stop. It's worked for me

so I got a letter today saying $5 a month for a year and they waive activation fee. So for $60 I decided to go ahead and do it. So I call and the $60 was really $72 after fees and tax. I said thanks but no thanks and the gal said she could do it for $66 including tax and fees. So I caved and one year for $66.00. I have to remember to cancel, which you can do at any time, or you get charged $17.99.
