Hi,
My 2023 2500 has a flat rectangle Sirius XM antenna- I believe.

My 2018 1500 had a fin style. It pickes up signal 500 miles further north in the Yukon Territory vs mid British Columbia on our travel.

Is that antenna replaceable? Maybe I got a POS?

Thanks

I see the 1500 still uses the fin. I wonder if it can be adapted to your truck?

Yeah, I'm in the NWT and it sucks on my 2022 3500. If the truck points North I don't get much signal. I have lifetime subscription though so it makes me feel better.

Not to de-rail, but a question.
When driving the last couple/few years, I've noticed driving past certain areas around town, the Sirius/XM signal will cut out until I pass that particular area.
Not an overpass, tunnel, tree cover or anything like that.
Wondering what causes this?
I'm thinking some type of frequency at a business is over riding the xm signal, but no idea.

In my new ‘23 the Sirius radio cuts out all the time. Just passing under trees will do it. In my old truck 2011 1500 this was never a problem. I’m driving the same roads same times and everything. I figure the new antennas aren’t as good I guess. It’s very annoying.
