Just picked up my 2022 ram2500 Laramie and the side steps look like 1500 side steps. Am I wrong thinking this or did they change them for ‘22? The ram website still shows the wider angle cut steps for the ‘22

Very different from advertised steps! Could they have been dealer installed? I have a Laramie on the way and hope those are not what I get.

They are dealer installed and supposed to be the factory wheel to wheel side steps for 2500/3500. My salesman is looking into it but I'm not very hopeful

Good luck with your salesman. I would have the parts mgr pull up a picture of factory steps and tell him that’s what I wanted but, I’m anal!

Those are the steps I have on my 2018 2500 Laramie. If the dealer ordered them, I bet they weren't paying attention and ordered for the wrong year.

Bet so, definitely not the 19+ W2W steps.

Talked with the GM and he told me that the steps I have are the only steps available as an accessory and the steps that I thought I was getting are generally purchased when a truck is ordered with them or for crash repair. Salesman don't know the difference and they just order the accessory. I really don't believe this to be true but he said at the end of the day he wants a happy customer and if he can get the side steps I thought I was getting he will get them for me. Now I wait...

I just installed those same ones on my 22’ ram 2500. Here’s the part numbers if it helps. There little higher then the accessory ones but look better. There $1050 ordered at the dealership around where I live vs the accessory ones prob $6-700 There not listed as a accessory so that’s why the dealer can’t find them or ordered wrong ones . There Listed as a part number since comes from factory optional. There called fixed factory running boards . Also listed the hardware kit. Now the hardware kit is exact same one as the accessory running boards so if you have those already it installs same way .

Thanks for all the replies. Dealer was able to locate and install the correct running boards at no additional cost to me. The GM was great to work with and really went out of his way to make sure I was Happy.
