Side steps/Nerf bars, etc.

When installing the rivnuts, make sure to use grease on your rivnut tool (which is just a bolt with some bearings/races and washers)

as long as you keep it greased up and apply pressure holding the rivnut fully seated, it’ll go perfectly. Once you get the first one completed you’ll have all the confidence you need to knock them all out.
Do you have a part number for the rivnuts tool and also for the rivnuts. I was able to get the mopar rock rails from a 75th anniversary to install to my power wagon non anniversary. Thank you in advance

I don’t, man. My rivnuts and tool came in the hardware kit for my steps (deezee)
I’m sure it would be an easy search ram steps are very popular.

Thank you! I’m pretty sure I found them online. I will post a picture. When I get it.
I'm sure there are numerous kits available, but here's the first one I found.

I saw this, I was just wondering what the 12 M6 bolts were for?

I installed rivnuts this morning. Easy job, just ensure you grease ‘the tool’ as mentioned. I didn’t bother with a torque wrench just tightened until the rivnut had no play and was snug in the hex slots. One question - any torque setting for the lower bolts that tighten to the two predrilled holes? I used 25 nm on the rivnut connections

I've been searching for awhile and can't believe no one offers a nice hoop style wheel to wheel for ccsb trucks like the rough country or N-fabs that doesn't have the goofy 3rd bed access steps.. Just think it looks stupid (I know it's just my preference) but want the full length bars as the cab length just doesn't look as good as wheel to wheel..

Totally agree on the third step. I also agree a wheel to wheel looks better if you can lose that third step. I chose cab length because I don’t want people leaning over the bed of my truck or climbing over the bed side, coupled with the fact that the mounts are on the cab so the bed section would be unsupported

Funnily enough I want the third step but I can’t find a nice one that runs the entire length of a CCLB. The ones that end abruptly for the SB just don’t look right to me.

Agreed. I very nearly went with one of the cheese grater options, but eventually decided on retractable so they'd tuck up and be hidden when not in use.

Initially I wanted to do the same but I’m a big dude and any help I can get, with regards to getting into the back of the truck, is much appreciated.

I may see if there are any local fab shops. Doesn’t seem like a hard request.

Just like with the add on options for their front and rear replacement bumpers, I wonder if these guys can have the wheel to wheel steps made without the 3rd step.
