Shop screwed up spring install

I'll have to look and see, that would be very helpful.

Yeah I don't really want to have them do the work but the truck isn't pulling to the left or right and the steering wheel was perfectly centered. That leads me to think they did an alignment. I already had a Krown treatment done to the truck (i live in the NE with salt and brine) so paint at this point won't stick unless I strip all the rust prevention oil off.
They most likely adjusted the drag link without an alignment machine the toe would not have changed

yea, seems you have to do some research and talking to find the good shop.
If I don't get a good vibe that the guys know what they are talking about, I'll leave without hesitation. Done that more than twice. ;)

Sad part is this shop has done other people's in the past including their own. Although in my area you dont see a lot of leveled 3/4 and 1 ton. I see mostly 1/2 ton.

Honestly at this point it's all speculation, I'm going to ask what happened and see what their response is.

Nothing in this thread surprises me.

If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.

Most shops are barely capable of changing your oil without causing damage. Very few shops are good at mechanic-ing and even even fewer are capable of installing a lift kit. Fewer still are capable of installing that lift kit properly.
Sad to say but this is truth!

They installed your springs upside down.. shop did the same to me. I had to argue with them. They still insisted they installed them correctly.. had to show them the directions from Carli that they were indeed upside down.. and bowed.. can’t believe the level of incompetence nowadays. Hope you got it sorted out..

If this makes you feel any better.. here are some pics of the botched job they did on my truck.. for whatever reason i can’t post a video but the track bar was set 1/2” too long and the Jam Nut wasn’t secure.. i could spin it with my fingers.. dangerous situation.. but here are some pics if it helps you feel any better. They have since corrected all of the mistakes. But honestly, everything they touched was F&$ked 2A3E956B-BEC0-4384-8E8C-E3CD9A4B98B5.jpeg

Yeah it's quite sad. I ended up fixing it myself in my driveway it took me about 2 hours this afternoon. Nice part about it though i didn't have to drop the track arm because the truck already had the taller springs installed. The shocks, brake line brackets and down the axle came. I got my alignment sheet back. I'm going to ask them to fix the caster. It's the least they can do after not doing the springs right and refusing to fix it.

Good deal.. The shop corrected 99% of the shoddy work.. but still.. i don’t want them to touch anything ever again.. that being said since my tires were rotated I’ve got a slight vibe that comes and goes.. I’ll let them balance them one more time.. I’m looking at getting the Carli Radius arm drops and 1” rear coils.. one thing is for sure, they WILL NOT be doing the work
