Does anyone have their CrewCab Short Bed stuffed into a really shallow garage?
Measurements online show the trucks being 238.8in long. My garage is 241in from front wall to garage door. My MegaCab definitely don't. LOL

Yep, if only it was that easy.
Brick or 2x4?

My garage door is recessed the thickness of the wall. Is there anyway you could "scooch" the door forward a few inches?

Moving wall is not an option. Lower 4ft is foundation for the house.

I was talking about moving the garage door (roller tracks and all) forward, not the wall.

Gotcha, not an option either. They are hurricane reinforced garage doors in concrete openings.

Did you check height too? Mine is too tall to fit. Shark fin is 1.5" taller than door casing.

Ha. I was in the same boat. The specs said 238.5 inches and mine is exactly 240 inches. Before I got the truck, I bumped out the wall about 20 inches to the end of the eaves. That is too bad though that you have foundation there and can't do it. I guess all you can do is wait to get it to try it. Theoretically it may fit. Do you have room for it outside if it doesn't fit?

Ok so chop a 12 or so inches out of the truck frame and put a 5.5ft box on it…. What do you need help with?

Can you put a carport roof over your driveway? At least it’s something.

Keep your garage for work space.

I have a mid 1990’s track home in Scottsdale. Pretty run of the mill garage.

My 2011 Crew Cab F150 FX4 fit in the garage backed in.

So does my 2022 2500 Crew Cab. Backed in. Barley. I brought the 2500 home before I bought one to make sure it fit in the garage. It was a prerequisite. No way I’m parking outside in AZ summer ever again.

As a retired custom home designer, I never understood the reasoning behind trac home garages or poorly thought out garage designs. Our last developer inspired crackerbox home, in Glendale (AZ), had a garage that was limited to a couple of mid-size sedans side by side. What a joke that was. In order to fit my last truck, in that garage, I had to back it in over the car stop and swing it towards the exterior wall. We had another 6' from car stop to interior wall. In a word, it was all "ridicuious!"

Op. I hate to say it, but in your case you most likely need to build on or detach build something that will meet your zoning and (or) CCR requirements. There's just so much elephant you can fit into a dog crate. Good luck!

Dealers here in southern Florida absolutely suck!!!!! Won't even allow a test drive without a contract. Smmmmf

I have a tight garage. I believe it is 244 inches. Parking in the garage was a must and something I fretted over until I got the truck. It is a tight fit but it makes it.
