Hey all, I have searched the forums far and wide until my eyes are bleeding and can't find what I am looking for. Just bought this 2022 Big Horn, and it does not have lumbar on the passenger side. After searching this forum for seat swaps, all the threads I find said this should be a plug and play swap. I bought a set of 2022 Laramie front seats and it is indeed a plug and play swap. Both front seats, all the seat functions work exactly as designed, up, down, forward, back, recline both directions and heat and lumbar work perfect. I wasn't really caring about the ventilation function, so I wasn't concerned about getting the computer flashed to enable that function thru the head unit. The only drawback I have is when I start the truck, the info screen pops up a message saying the "airbag system needs service" and then the airbag little light stays on. It also try's to make an emergency phone call and fails on that. I have double and triple checked all the connections under the seat and disconnected both batteries with no change. Does anyone have any idea what needs to be done? Is it a must that I take it to Dodge and have them burn me for flashing the computer?? I appreciate any help you all could provide.

Hey I am wanting to do a seat swap in the future and was researching this. From what I understand the airbags in the seat should stay with the vehicle. This means that you will need to open the seats up and swap the airbags out. Again, I have not done this but this is the info I came across. Hope it helps you.

Did you ever figure out a fix for this? having the same problem. did an interior swap. but also swapped the steering wheel so not sure if that will be another issue. but the air bag light is on.

I never did get any answers. I ended up swapping the seats back. The Big Horn seats did not come with an electrical plug for the passenger seat buckle assembly by design, but the Laramie seats did. I had taken the airbags from the original seats and put them into the Laramie seats. Only code it was throwing was saying that the passenger buckle was incorrect. I got tired of screwing with it.
