So I got my new 22 Ram 3500 Longhorn Dually. I see the option for Tire Fill Alert (on or off) but I don’t see how you can set the tires to the PSI I want (selectable amounts) How do I change the settings?

Thanks,
Dave…

You have to enable it, then go to the tire fill app. There are 2 presets available.

I have it Enabled already, but I don't see where the Tire Fill app is? I thought you can select the PSI you want in the tires, but I just don't see it.
I have every option in my Longhorn Limited Dually but can't seem to find it in either the 7" center scene or the 12' UConnect screen.
Can you show me a screen-shot of where it is please?

Thanks,
Dave...

Ah, Finally found it. It’s on the 3rd page under apps!

I don't trust it. Use a decent tire gauge instead. YMMV
It actually didn’t work. I made sure it was active, I set my tires to 75 front, 65 rear. Had it in run mode, not running. Started deflating the front tire, no horn. Checked the center screen tire setup & it showed I already went from 82 to 55 psi. So I did the outside drivers rear next, and just kept checking the center screen again until I got to 65. Still no horn. Once I started deflating the drivers inside tire, my flashers started blinking. Good I thought, it’s finally going to work. Nope, still never got the horn to beep, I had to just keep checking the screen until I got to where I wanted them.
Then I had to go out to the local gas station to add 10psi back into the drivers front tire.

Mine has been pretty inconsistent. Sometime works, sometimes doesn't and I don't think I'm doing anything different.

I've been playing a little with this and have some observations.

Despite what the owners manual states it will not work for deflating tires. I presume it will work for deflating if you overinflate and the horn goes crazy, but I haven't tried that. I even tried inflating to get into SFA (hazards came on) and then deflated but it never notified me. The dash updates pretty fast thou, so that was nice.

I also noticed that if you start within a few psi of the set pressure it won't alert you. That happened to me last weekend coming out of the mountains. I was at 50/40 and wanted to go to 65/45. The horn honked when the front tires hit 65, but didn't honk for either rear tire.

I kept the wheels/sensors off of my 2018 and have some M/T's on them for hunting. The truck picked up the sensors within a mile, but those sensors are not compatible with SFA. Time will tell if I swap them out or not.

This. I keep an air gauge in the drivers door pocket anyway. I won't be using my trucks "tire fill assist" feature as it's much easier to just grab the air gauge. Kind of a gimmicky option IMO.

I was more hopeful for SFA, but have been just using the EVIC readout as it’s accurate and instant. Which is nice when filling or deflating because you can just watch the dash and disconnect when the proper pressure is reached vs all the checking with a gauge. Not that it’s overly time consuming doing it the old fashioned way.
