Seat Swapping

Hello to all. New to the forum and thanks for all the great info.

I have a 2022 2500 Laramie 4x4 Off Road Edition that I traded up from a 2018 Ram 1500 Laramie. Bought the truck to prep for retirement and long road journeys pulling an RV. Problem is the seats in the 2500 are hard and uncomfortable compared to my old 1500. My wife has told me so on numerous occasions so I am looking for potential solutions. One was to buy a set of 2018 Laramie seats but not sure if it will be a simple swap. A second COA was to look for 2019-2022 1500 Laramie seats but same question persists. Another COA was to get them re-upulstered and fixe the bottom part. Do any of you have this issue and if so, what was your solution? Any info will help, thanks!!

Apparently that’s not true. There is a thread on this forum from a guy who put the front seats from a 1500 into his HD. Apparently he just had to swap the brackets. Maybe message him for more info.

1500 seats fit into 2500 cab?

Good to know. I'll have to do some research if the 1500's do fit. I've seen way more of the 1500 seats vs the 2500 seats online for sale

Same here, if what he says is true a power drivers seat from a DT 1500 will work plug and play in my tradesman
