Just started getting this error on my 2022 Ram 3500. Shuts down the Sirius. I can hold the power button down to do a soft reset and when it comes back up, it brings Sirius back online but defaults the channel to 1. All the channels come back. Never had this issue until about a week ago. Pain in the rear having to reset the radio each time I get into the truck. Anyone ever get this error or have a fix for it?

Add another 22 2500/PW with 12" display to the list. I have "Reset Radio" via the touchscreen 3 or so times. Might try a Factory Rest next. Appt w/dealer in 2 weeks scheduled. A WAG here given the recent occurrences, but is this the result of a OTA signal from SIRIUS or RAM that is causing the issue?

Happens 75% of start ups for about the last week, annoying more than anything!

Might be! I look forward to hearing what your dealer has to say. I can’t get mine into the dealer until mid/late July.

Been having the same issue for just over a week. I talked to the service manager at my dealer while checking on a different truck and she said try parking outside at night, it might be trying to update. Well, I have mine updating over Wi-Fi and it has a good signal so I doubt that is the problem.

#Kerryn74 Press and hold the power button for what seems like a minute (about 20 seconds) and the radio will restart.

Not sure if it is related, but when I reset the radio, my backup camera goes out (guidelines still there). Then after an overnight it comes back, but the SiriusXM is out. I essentially paid for both, but backup cam is kinda nice...and I can get to the Sirius app on my phone through CarPlay.

Thanks. This got it working (until the next time I started the truck).

The odd thing now with Sirius is that the signal now cuts out at places that it hasn’t since back in the early days of satellite radio. Did they somehow downgrade the Sirius software about 20 years???

Yes! Same thing here; pass under a bridge for 2 seconds and it drops out. Even going down my driveway cuts the signal which never happened before.

I've now noticed the same. I was just blaming sunspots. All the other techies do.

drove the kiddos to camp, it was fine. Got back in after drop off, turned the truck on and the error was back. Soft reset, and it worked on the way home.

I will have to check. Soft resets in the past never impacted the cameras

I am experiencing ONLY the backup camera (tailgate I believe) going out then coming back. All other standard cameras on my Limited work fine. The surround view has the dark area in the back as well from missing the backup cam signal. It comes back overnight most times.

My 22 started doing the same thing about two weeks ago. Is it just 2022's doing this or is there other years doing it to. It's got to be a bad update or something.
