Safety Package worth it?

I don't have the package but do have adaptive cruise, leds and the forward collision warning. Fwd collision suxxx imo but leds and ACC is amazing.

I have it on my 3500. I wanted it mainly for the ACC and adaptive steering. I like the ACC, but not the adaptive steering on the highway. The steering feels too loose at high speeds, but turns very smoothly when driving slow like in a parking lot or whatnot. I have the lane assist turned off.

This is only my second day with my truck. I spent 3 hours of highway time in it today. I found that the land assist kind of drives for you. When i would go to physically put driver input to correct the steering and keep it between the lines i often found the truck already started doing it for me. Weird but it was in sync with what i was going to do. I personally like it and i have always turned it off in previous vehicles.

My Bighorn has the Safety Group but it does not include LED lamps.

It does have a 7.0" color cluster though and without the Safety Group my Level 1 Equipment Group tells me I'd be stuck with a 3.5" cluster.

Something to consider. LED headlamps would be easy to add compared to a cluster swap.

BTW, I highly recommend the towing technology group. Great equipment/features for the money. Well worth it.
