Other than the S&B being 2gal larger and having a lower msrp, are there any differences between them? Do they both sit closer to the ground, or does one ride higher?

This is for a 2022 mega cab

Thx

I saw some pics of the S&B installed, and it did hang lower, but really wasn't bad at all. I have been looking at them myself.

They both hang lower to my knowledge you dont have the real-estate to go any other direction than down…. The S&B is apparently setup for a FASS or other sump ready setups for future use(if your in to those garbage setups)

Yes, both hang lower, but seems like the titan does less so.

I forget which one, but one likes to slosh fuel like it has no baffles. I’d research that a bit.

Ok, per their websites S&B hangs 2.4” lower and Titan 2.8”.

This is the only mention of baffles that I could find on either

I dont think any tanks have a baffle i certainly have never seen one with a baffle out of the 100s of fuel pumps i have changed over the years…

Found it:

Installed titan 50 gallon fuel tank last week and once the needle moved off full I have noticed quite a bit of sloshing going on, my wife was driving the other day backing into a spot and literally thought she ran into something while parking feels like someone is kicking the back of your seat. Has anyone else experience this? Is the S&B any better I would gladly switch if so.

I have the Titan and have not ever noticed this.

Some people look for issues that are not there…. My 100 gal transport tank that i turned to an aux tank has no issues with with no baffles you don't feel anything no sloshing, the only time i have felt sloshing is with a 250gal water cube when its at about 1/2 tank you can feel a bit of sloshing nothing to speak of though

Spoke with titan. There is a small fuel sump and the shape of the tank acts as a baffle. Said they have had one guy in 10 years complain about fuel surging.

Also spike to s&b. Theirs have a baffle of some sort.
