Running Boards

My 2020 Ram 2500 has running boards, but they hang down quite a bit (see the two attached pictures of my truck).

The other day I saw a Ram 3500 4.5 generation version and the running boards (cab length) hung down less than mine do. However, the brackets looked similar.

Is there a version of the running board brackets that keep the running boards from hanging down so much?

Those look like the standard running board, I don’t think there are different height HD ones but I do recall a difference in LD and HD brackets in terms of height. I want to say they fit either truck but the profile is wrong on the wrong truck.

I bought aftermarket ones that had a long bracket to get lower, but it was too low. I shortened the brackets by cutting horizontally below where they bolt to the truck and moved the lower piece up to where I wanted them and welded it alongside the upper portion of the bracket. Very easy fix.
