Running Board Question

I just purchased a 2022 3500 SRW Longhorn. I wanted Wheel-to-wheel Running Boards like I had on my 2015 so I specified those instead of the Power Deployed Running Boards. But the fixed Running Boards on my new truck are too high. In fact they are significantly higher than my old truck (photos). Based on photos of a similar truck with deployed running boards, they appear to be signioficantly lower than the fixed Running Boards. So my question is in 2 parts:
1. Can the Running Board Height be Adjusted down to be like my old truck? - or
2. Can the factory Power Running Boards be installed in lieu of the Fixed Running Boards on my truck?

The mounting holes are fixed, so you need to buy different running boards or install the power running boards.

You can install AMP or the OEM running boards.

The OEM boards will require AlfaOBD to program the radio controls for the power steps/activate on the truck..the OEM power running boards should come with everything you need for the installation hardware wise.

I installed aftermarket Aries power steps on mine. Cost was about $1500 and it was an easy install. It's all self- contained, no reprogramming needed.

Is there a kit from Mopar - or do you have to buy parts separately? If parts, which parts assuming you are starting with a Longhorn Level 1 pkg but with fixed boards?

I think the Longhorns all come with Power Running boards...
They are an acsessory item from MOPAR.

Not correct - you can order with Wheel to Wheel fixed Running Boards which I did but now regret it.

I have never seen one with fixed running boards that dealerships have ordered around here but that may be an Arizona thing since we don't get a lot of snow. But like I said they are listed as an accessory so you can buy the kit.
