Roof/Cab kayak rack input

Ve3ffr --- Nice! I like the round peg in a square hole. Simple swivel for a light load. How did you mount the grill protector to the truck? Hard to see, but it looks like you captured the tow hooks. (and then something else?)

You are right on Hardtop , I used flat steel on the top of the tow hooks and made a plate for the bottom that fit over and inside the tow hook. It clamps tight and will not slide because of the inside pieces. The round peg in the square hole does make it easy to load by your self, No chance of droping it on the truck.

Ve.....what rack do you have on the truck, I was looking at Thule. I like the idea of only one on the cab.
Thanks

I use a Thule rack for the front , I didn't want 2 on the roof. All the pieces are pinned together so it is easy to remove .

Ve......can I have a picture of how you made the attach point on the hook and what it all looks like from the front.....if you have a picture?

You have me intrigued.

Like to see it.
