First time buying a new truck. I've always purchased trucks that are a few years old but since I'm older now, figured it was time to buy a nice new truck. Super happy with it so far.
I'll start my build thread with the day of purchase photo:

First stop was to the tint shop for some 5%. I can't do the fish bowl life.
Picked up a bed cover but nothing exciting there. I went with the BAK Revolver and am pleased with it.
After some rooting around online, I decided on the Thuren 2.75" front springs with track bar and Fox 2.0's. This is a factory air ride truck that will spend most of its life launching my boat and highway driving to the lake and back:

I was able to install the lift in my driveway on a Saturday morning. Wife joked about me using my Harbor Freight jacks on the 9,000lb truck but hey, they did the trick. Also thanks to CJC Offroad for their informative videos, I did the lift as well as the alignment myself.

With the front sitting a little nose high, I went with the Suspension Superstore adjustable link bars to add about 1/2" lift in the rear. This brought the truck to the stance I was looking for. If anyone is wondering, the ride quality with adding 1/2" of lift with the air ride isn't noticeable.

Finally, time for wheels and tires!
Raceline is the wheel of choice on this build. 18x9 with a 18mm backspacing. Nitto Ridgegrappler 37x12.50's for rubber.

Time to enjoy the ruck for a while. Later I'll likely upgrade the shock package, but for now this truck does what I want it to do. Great ride quality for a 2500.

Looks great! I checked out CJC site for the alignment video you mentioned and couldn’t find it. Any chance you can link it?

About halfway through the video, they get into the alignment.
Ok I’ll check it out. I was going to have a shop set mine to thuren spec as it’s never been touched but maybe I can do it myself I ain’t skerred…
Thanks!

Did some major fabrication work this weekend to get rid of the tire rub I was getting on the 37's. LOL!
Trimmed the "hump" off the lower plastic cap and used a heat gun to shape the inner fender a little. Was able to get it to lay over. So far, no more rubbing. I really don't want to have to cut the inner fender if I don't have to.

What tint did you choose? Percentages all around and the windshield if you could please.

5% ceramic tint all around. Just a visor strip across the windshield. I have a hard enough time seeing at night, so I didn't want to tint the whole windshield.

Added Fox 2.5 IFP with HTO shocks to the rear as well as the Fox TS steering Damper. I think the Thuren rear track bar is next on my to do list.

Also found a S&B CAI on marketplace so figured why not? I know there's no real gain from this, but for $200 it cleans up the engine bay. LOL

There’s a reason it was on marketplace. I’d swap back to factory and resell that bad boy before you have issues

Unless tuned, these engines are finicky with their filtration. Watch out for frequent regens that cause oil dilution.

I've only read about the CEL being an issue. I read through multiple threads, most saying that they don't improve performance. I didn't see any saying they would actually be harmful... Is it really an issue having the S&B?

Honestly it’s on a truck by truck basis. But some trucks even with factory everything are still a nightmare. Just be aware and if something starts going off the deep end keep it in the back of your mind.

Thanks for the heads up.
There’s a thread on here somewhere where people are having trouble finding a mopar filter that doesn’t cause issues much less an aftermarket one. Just a heads up

For what it's worth my S&B caused no change in truck performance. However I just changed the filter and added the pre filter filter cover. Was surprised at the amount of large debris caught in the filter media. I don't daily the truck but have taken it on two 180 mile round trips and DPF gauge stayed down at 0. As others have said it can be hit or miss. I still have the stock box just in case.

Looking good! I'm kind of surprised the 2.75 Thurens only put the truck up about 1/2 higher than the back. I have the same truck as you and I feel like my rear end sits lower than most with the air ride,
