Reverse cam/front cam

Question for all with these features. I have the surround view camera pkg, when I put into reverse it works great. When I get close to object or go slow the front cam Dosent come on automatically, I have to go through apps to turn it on. Is this normal???

My wife’s Mercedes’ and previous Escalade platinum all automatically turned on at slow speeds in drive.

Yes that is normal for the Rams

I haven’t found a way to automatically do this yet. My answer was to put the camera icon on the top of the screen, press it when pulling in to an area and select the front camera. It’s a pain but it’s workable…

Completely normal. I made a post on this last week and was disappointed when I found out its not automatic. I have a shortcut set up that takes me to the Surround View camera. While I wish it was automatic I can access it with the push of a button.

agreed. Was driving a Kia rental car last week and next to the shifter was a surround view camera button. Well placed so as you shift from reverse to fwd or just resting your hand a single push and wham, cams on. Wish RAM had an easier button than the shortcut.

I wish Ram did too. I set my front camera on my favorites page, top right. So when I park or anything I can quickly hit it
