It took three years and two trucks, but I’m back in a ram HD all by accident. I love keeping updated on all brands of new trucks. I had recently seen pictures of the new 2025 ram HD but I had not seen one in person. I had about 30 minutes to spare yesterday.. so I went into the dealership, hoping to see one on the lot and then drive off. As I was getting into the truck to drive off a salesman hit me up.. I did everything I could do while being polite to let him know I was upside down on my current ride and I was on vacation just looking. I didn’t see one on the lot, but as I politely waited for him to give me his business card. He drove around with the only 2025 3500 on the lot. I was interested so we did take it around the block. And then knowing that I was immensely upside down in my current ride, I bought it during the vehicle chaos of 2022. I informed him of that. I also told him the truth that I had to go meet my daughter know I had negative equity and I left the lot. I should have been a very very low priority that said they called me back. A few hours later and they made me a deal. I could not refuse. I am now an owner of a new ram HD.

My daughter said fastest car deal ever, I reminded her I showed up to dealership to look at 11:50 am drove off at 12:15 never expecting a deal. They did work with me off lot. Still don’t understand why they didn’t try to get me into one of their 15 or so 2024s . Really like it so far a few things I don’t

Good looking truck. What are your likes and dislikes? Would be good to keep everyone updated on problems or hopefully lack there of on your truck. Curious how the updated powertrain handles. If I can get a good deal, I’m leaning on dumping my ‘23, if my CFO approves of course

.I’m still learning the truck I like the technology, but I have to learn the technology on my Chevy extending the mirrors was one but not two. I missed the sensor on the door on my Lonestar. I have to use the key fob and push it to unlock the door not just grab the door not a big deal but an inconvenience. I don’t like it towed OK today I think I need to move my hitch forward to be fair and it was very windy today transmission shift pretty smoothly almost seamless. I can see the speedometer and I accelerate quickly, but I don’t quite feel it in the seat of my pants. I just crossed the 400 mile threshold had about 150 mile tow today.
