Replacement battery

Lead acid (MTP)
I mentioned the Walmart Everstart Maxx's, so far I haven't gone to AGM on any of my batteries, sticking with lead acid in vehicles and boats. Life seems more than acceptable, not tracking it close enough to give an exact number but definitely nothing has failed in under 4 years, including several diesel pickups with dual batteries. I'm not completely understanding the AGM advantage in vehicles like ours.

My truck is still on oem’s so I plan on replacing them this fall on age alone. I will get Walmart lead acids to put in their place.

Just for grins I tried a Weize H7 AGM on sale at WalMart last spring. It was $145, free shipping, and no core charge. So far so good. If it lasts 2 years I figure I'm even.

Just had to replace my batteries. One cracked but luckily it was the one on the driver side that has little reservoirs in the tray. Happened while hooking up in a remote RV park and was able to jump it off. Drove straight to nearest Walmart and got 2 AGMs and put them in in the parking lot myself. I have 3 Walmart SC within 30 minutes at home.
