Anyone done it? Can it be done? I hate this keyless start thing. On mine 4 out of 10 starts it says key fob not detected. Sometimes I just have to try to start it again and it works. Sometimes I have to pull the fob out of my pocket and push it into the button. I've replaced the battery 3 times in the last 4 months so its not the battery!

Try the spare fob it may be a ****ty fob my wifes care is like that with my fob for it.... i dont know any way you can put a keyed ignition on these trucks

Take her in . I think some have had trouble with the part that receives the signal. I love keeping my fob in my pocket.

Mine is at least as bad. I am to the point where I pull it from my pocket every time I get in. I do that because the FOB so rarely connects to the truck, I have been retrained by the truck to just push the dash button with FOB. I should take mine into the dealer once the salt is gone and I get it back out of storage. Maybe they can replace the receiver in the truck so that it can read the FOB from my pocket?

My wife's car recently did that and we found the car door wasn't shut all the way.

Well, I can say mine as been flawless. Not a single beat was ever missed. The remote starts works every time. Keyless entry works perfectly too.
So, something is wrong with yours if you don't get the same results. Get it fixed.

Can’t be done. An rf hub doesn’t exist for the 2019+ HDs that can use an ignition like that. Have you installed any aftermarket LED bulbs, specifically in the third brake light?

No aftermarket lights.
It does iot with both fobs
Now that I think about it, I've been having problems with it king and unlocking the doors as well.
I guess its back to the dealer AGAIN!!

Sounds like this might piggyback onto the issues with the rf hub where guys remote start the truck, then have issues unlocking the truck with the fob. It seems like more issues in general are popping up on these 2019+ rf hubs (they switched rf hub manufacturers from TRW to Strattec). Not sure if your issues are related to the same rf hub issues as a whole, but FCA is aware, and working on a fix.
