Removing adaptive steering

Thanks for the replies guys. I would expect that after a while rebuild units would be available reducing the cost.

Even a brand new gear with torque overlay/module is only $530, which is about 1/3 of what it was in 2020 when they first hit the parts catalog.

That's a great price. It was $3k to have fixed when the electric steering failed on the wife's jeep Grand Cherokee. Also keep in mind when electric steering fails it's near impossible to steer.
