Remote start concern

Hey all, I recently upgraded from a 2014 2500 big horn to a new 2025 with the same trim level. While there are many new and better features with this truck one thing that bugs me is the remote start. When starting the truck the doors lock, nothing new. However when I press the unlock button on the key fob, the engine shuts down. It starts again with the push button just fine but it's annoying. Does anybody know if this can be changed or is this just the way they are now.

It should function and run for 15 min in remote start . Do you have the last 8 of the vin ?

Friend of mine has a 2025 and when I drove it did not do that. Is there any messages in the cluster? The 2025s have some electrical gremlins people have been experiencing, I would have the dealer look at it since thats not normal operation.
 
Nope, no messages in the cluster. It starts and runs for the allotted time like it's supposed to, it just shuts of when I unlock the doors. My 2014 and my mother in laws 2020 don't have this issue. I know it's not a big issue, just odd. It's on my list of stuff to ask the dealer about when I take it in for an oil change next.
 
Fuel level? It will shut down quickly if fuel level is too low.

I don’t think my 24 does that, but I usually just grab the door handle to get in the truck. Definitely doesn’t shut down then. I have had it cancel a start when I unlock the doors/tailgate, but the truck hadn’t started yet.

ETA: This morning, I used the fob to unlock after remote starting. Continued to run as expected.
