Purchased a 2021 Ram2500 cummins automatic. Had a problem with the remote key only working intermittently. Just got it back from a Dodge dealer who replaced the RF Hub and programmed two new key fobs. Within the first hour one remote quit working altogether and within a couple three hours the other one quit working.
The second remote worked later in the day once. The service guy when I asked if replacing the Hub and remotes would fix the problem and his reply was absolutely. After a call making him aware of the problem, his reply was that replacing the Hub and remotes were just a starting point.
Anyone have any knowledge of what’s going on?
Thank you!

No. Since both fobs were new from the dealership, I just assumed the batteries were good. Can I check for codes myself?
Do I need a device to check for codes?

One would assume the fobs would have good batteries but who knows how long those had sat on the shelf

you would need a code reader to read the codes

My fobs do this intermittently and I am at a loss.... I have replaced batteries many times... they'll work, then not work.... who knows why?
