Yea. That’s the moment in time the filter was acceptable. See what I’m saying? That was an error within the Mopar parts network
Check out valley center in Canada ehSource on the 22 ecm crack.
I’m definitely not trying to rub it in. I apologize if it came across that way. I feel bad for you and the folks who are having these issues. I love my truck. Got skent on the deal when I bought it but it was exactly the truck I wanted. Not the dealer I wanted to buy it from but it was on their lot. I checked today about some of the dealer listed maintenance records listed as miscellaneous. 1 of them was an ECM upgrade flash done sometime late last year while it was still on the lot. That’s all the info I got about it. Said they charged the batteries also while it was sitting.Y’all just rub it in why don’t ya!
After 2 regen intervals >200 while towing my TT and then a flatbed trailer, I’m back around 160 and 6 hours.
I noticed something on the iDash with the DPFTIM parameter, which Banks says is minutes. I don’t think it is minutes. Mine said 559 after last regen. If that’s minutes that’s 9.3 hours, but the hour meter on the EVIC was 6 total since last regen. I’m thinking that parameter is missing a decimal point and should have been 5.59 in hours, not minutes. I’ve not kept track of the hour meter along with the regens. I’m trying to do that now though.
I was just given y’all some grief.I’m definitely not trying to rub it in. I apologize if it came across that way. I feel bad for you and the folks who are having these issues. I love my truck. I think I have the same drive cycle and mine was on a 10-14 hour regen cycle until I started using the Mobil fuel. They list B11 for Illinois and B20 for Texas and B5 elsewhere. There could be another underlying problem though and the possibilities are almost endless. I hope you have better luck with your dealer than I have.I was just given y’all some grief.
I still love my truck but waiting for it to constipate itself is unnerving to say the least. I knew DDing it wouldn’t be good given the emissions “upgrades” I opted for buying it over my 2006 but never expected anything like this mess. Just crossed 19k in 2 years.
Maybe I just need to DD it with my TT connected?!? lol At least I’d have an out for volunteering to drive to lunch when at work. lol
Mine will passive regen sometimes on my short 7mi one way commute. Sometimes when I get on the highway it won’t and the DPF% rises quickly, but other times the situations are reversed. Short drive it’ll rise quickly and highway it’ll passively regen. I cannot make sense of it.I think I have the same drive cycle and mine was on a 10-14 hour regen cycle until I started using the Mobil fuel. I’ve not taken mine to the dealer, yet. No codes so far to warrant a trip there.
I am going to check my oil level as I think it could be over full. I changed it at 14k along with fuel filters and air filter (AB) and that’s when I noticed more frequent regens. Coincidence? Maybe. Or maybe I just didn’t pay enough attn before the change. Using Rotella T5 10w-30. Plan on changing it in shorter interval given the regen frequency.
So your is a 2020 and has issues?.... its not just 22/23's then.I removed and cleaned the one MAP sensor at throttle valve this last monday. It is now thursday and i have not had a regen as of yet. Ive drivin it everyday. when befor cleaning, i was getting a regen everyday i drove. JUST AN UPDATE!!!!!
Did you use the MAF sensor cleaner? Did the issues start after you had the hpcr fuel pump upgrade?I removed and cleaned the one MAP sensor at throttle valve this last monday. Yep.. Had regen rates increase after CP4 recall done 2 years ago after new ecm flash I've noticed.. And also been in for particulate matter sensor replacement and no change for regens after. Hopefully its was the MAP sensor...it was extremely loaded up with soot, i wonder why it did not pop a code?So your is a 2020 and has issues?.... its not just 22/23's then.
Im sure it will start popping codes. The one I had (a 2022 3500 dually) was regreening every 28 to 75 miles and stated popping codes. Guess these problems went back before 22 models then. Like someone said its a shame Cummins ships there engines in a ram crate lolYep.. Had regen rates increase after CP4 recall done 2 years ago after new ecm flash I've noticed..
