Now that I think about it he doesn't seem to have that problem. Did you oversize the holes ? If not, perhaps anchors of some sort ?

I had them and it was a damn nightmare could not get them to quit leaking. Reinstalled factory and no more issues

Mine are the fresh install version, scheduled for next Wednesday. Butyl sealant is the order of business. I decided to move on from the solar competition. Too unreliable for me.

Solar cab lights ? As in Cab over America ?

I'm trying not to be critical of the system. I love the idea as well as the product but my experience has been that with decreasing daylight hours (despite unobstructed sunlight) and cooler temperatures they are unreliable despite the best efforts of the manufacturer to provide me with verified lights when mine failed. Hope this answers your question without answering your question. ;)

Yeah I have them too. I have gone through 8+ remotes now. They usually work once or twice. The lights themselves look good but they need direct sunlight or else they only last 10 minutes. I’m not super impressed for the cost. I just love the look of cab lights on a truck and wished these worked better.

Unfortunately that's been my exact experience. The manufacturer is responsive and has tried to help but to no avail. If you're in Southern Ontario I'm willing to help you install a set of Recons... Right-sized holes with Butyl sealant and you'll have zero chances for leaks.

These things look incredible. Better than factory if you ask me... (Due to the smoked lenses.)
