Rear view mirror delete

I have a 2021 5500 4x4 chassis Dynamax Istata 5 Motorhome. The camera monitor is clamped onto the rear view mirror. I’m 6’5” and it gives me a bad blind spot. I want to delete the mirror (not useful) and replace it with a Ram mount system to raise the monitor. I have adaptive cruise control. Any advice would be appreciated.

Removing the mirror isn't likely to help much, since the DASM (the module with the radar and camera in it) will still be blocking the view.

but getting the monitor up will help with the blind spot….

I re-read his post and agree with you. The part about the monitor already being attached to the mirror didn’t stick in my brain for some reason.
