Rear parking sensor question

Is it possible to disconnect the two center sensors in the rear bumper and keep the two outside sensors active? My current drop hitch sets the sensors off. I’ve grown tired of removing the hitch when not towing. Not a huge deal since I can turn the rears off completely. I just don’t trust my wife driving without the sensors since she grown dependent on them in her car and you know……

Installed the b&w tow and stow and it’s making my rear sensors go off. I’m not too crazy about the racket it makes. But I’m too fat and too lazy to take receiver out after each use.

My gen y megaduty sets off the sensors too, if anyone knows a solution other than shutting them off im all ears

rear bumper parking sensor with drop hitch

My rear proximity alert beeps constantly in R with my hitch (Bulletproof 6” drop.) With a trailer, the system is turned off, and would not do me much good anyways but I leave the hitch on full time. The bumper has 4 sensors and it seems logical that the 2 middle sensors are the ones picking up...
