Rear park sensor no display

So I have a 2021 ram 2500 CD. I bought my wiring harness from Jimmy to add the rear park sensors. I picked up a used bumper takeoff that had the park sensors on them so the back end was plugged and play upfront, I used Jimmy’s wires and wired everything up and Programmed Alpha.

The Park sensors seem to work and the truck beeps but there is nothing on my display.

My son had a 2019 ram 2500 with factory OEM rear park sensors and his display showed a graphic of the truck and wherever there was something behind him.

Does anyone know if the 2021 should also have that same ability to display , the status of the rear sensors? If so, any suggestions to troubleshoot? Thanks. Thanks in advance.

Not sure it would affect the display, but did you replace the switch panel to include the rear park sense switch?

Thanks for the reply, yes. I used another of Jimmy07’s wiring harnesses and did the 12.1” upgrade with aux and park sensor switches!

The Rear sensors are supposed to have a graphical display aren’t they? Can anyone post a picture of it? My son sold his truck so I can’t verify. Thanks

Not sure I ever recall seeing anything for the rears on my truck.

You should see the display in the EVIC when in reverse it will show the truck and 4 sections representing each sensor at the back of the truck image. Do you have gauge cluster with the 3.5 colour display or is yours either the 3.5 black and white display or the 7 inch. My 19 has the 3.5 colour screen and thats what i see the 7” is the same from what i have seen.

When did you add the sensors and program them? It may be one of those things that take a day or so to show up i cant say for sure but i believe i have seen people mention a delay in some things showing up after adding certain features.

Thanks for the reply. I do know my son did not have the front sensors and he did have the display. I asked him so it’s a thing but his was a 2019 and mines a 2021 but I don’t think RAM changed anything.
