I ran a Google search but came up empty here, is anyone aware of a metal version of the rear fuel filter cap... I was able to find a metal version of the front one but no luck on the rear so far.

Thank You!

I haven’t seen one for sale from the usual vendors.

It seems most people are doing the CAT filter replacement kit, which does seem like a better product but I would rather wait until after warranty is up to do that....

I guess I’ll just buy a spare plastic one for when I spin the edges off the cheesy plastic head...

With the right size socket seated properly I feel as if the stock will last more than a few changes. It always seems tightest from the factory, I spun mine off with no marring of the cap. Now that I got past that first change and the torque of the cap is a bit more reasonable I won’t anticipate any issues unless I screw up, slipping the socket off the threads.

The rear is not a cap the complete body of the filter housing spins off, with the proper 28mm socket you will get a lifetime out of it
