Re-Ordered My 2020 Ram 3500 HO Laramie Longhorn

Nope! In my opinion, there is always a chance of the leaking, it makes the interior of the vehicle hotter in my opinion and I don't like the sun in my face when driving. Always something else that could brake. Also keeps the arguing down between Wife and me as to whether to open it or not....
That's hilarious because that's us, she wants it open an I don't. I was going to ask you if you had it to measure the opening across because I'm going to order a sun roof wind/ bug deflector, thanks though

The last one I had leaked (ruined a lot of things in the vehicle $$$), so I went to a vinyl wrap guy and had him to wrap/cover the roof with white reflective/Insulating vinyl and that helped out on everything I mentioned above. That is one reason I got a white truck. If not i was going to make what ever I got a white top like the Toyota FJ.

@Rich, That reminds me, I failed to mention how the A/C was cooling in the new truck when I took it on the 24 hour test drive. It would Freeze your B***s off on low speed and recirculating air on. Keep your fingers crossed! Mum is the word

Great, something else I need to spend money on. Thanks for the idea.

If your do, make sure pull the fuse or unplug the switch so you won't accidentally try to open it. If you want to know why I mentioned it, I'll let you ask the wife as she is the one that hit the switch. Then you better take a couple of steps backward fast! LOL

Well well well, i can't believe it. Just did my daily chat with ram care to ask if its at the dealership yet an they said it has arrived, holy mackerel. I ha front heard anything from the dealership today wich makes me nervous it could be damaged. So, what would you all do?
Call dealership an say what's up?
Don't call dealership an wait to see how long it takes for them to call you wich could be a tip that something came in screwed up an they tried to hide it?
Hmmmmmm

If the dealer isn't to far away, I would just over there (Don't go inside or let them know you are there) and walk the lot until you find it. Then do all your inspections you can, the do inside and play dumb and ask if your truck has made it in yet. I did the same as my dealer didn't call me either.

I would also tell my dealer I wanted to take it on a 24 hour test drive to check it out and show it to your wife. I did and they let me.

About 45 minutes away

No sunroof, same reasons, I just like the idea of the white roof to repel some heat. My 04.5 also had some issues with clearcoat rash.

OK, now while Rich is out, everybody hide.

You notice it took him (@Rich) a few minutes to pack a duffel bag before he left the house, he might even spend the night in it.. You know the dealer is going to be angry with him for leaving all the wet spots in the truck from drooling and who knows what else... I bet he is like a kid with a new toy!! (big eyes and a big grin on his face) LOL

Immm backkk. Btw, i saw your message brutal, i bet it was quite for a few hours. They had her hid. She's beautiful. No one even new I was there. They still have to put the step tubes on, drop the hitch in, detail it, etc. Inside was not dirty, outside was a bit dusty. The big drum roll, from what I can tell there is no major dings, dents, scratches or tears. I crawled in it, under it, did 3 trips around. Didn't really notice anything abnormal like bumper or bed/ cab alignment being off. As you know though when you take a first look at a house you don't notice everything until you go back for a second look, so well be a little more particular when we go back, when ever that is. I don't even think my salesman knows it's in there because no one has emailed or called me, . The main thing I cared about was no major damage, so it appears at this point I've dodged a bullet
