Is the rattling feedback in the steering normal, especially over broken pavement. Don't usually feel it over single large bumps. Feels like some component in the steering might be loose but can't find anything dramatic. Never really had anything this noticeable in my gladiator or any other solid axel vehicles I have owned.

I don’t get anything like that in my 21. It follows road crown like my dog follows my steak but it doesn’t have any rattles or anything like that.

The only thing I noticed is that when I had my tire pressures much higher than they are now it seemed like the tires bounced more - like a high frequency up and down feeling over bumps in the road. Seemed like the shocks couldn’t dampen the overinflated basketballs well. It’s gone away since I’ve lowered to 45 front and 40 rear.

Do you happen to have a hitch installed in your receiver all the time? I get feedback through the steering when I’ve got a hitch installed especially if it’s not loaded. It rattles in the receiver and I hear/feel it from the front. Take it out and it immediately goes away.

It doesn’t do it with the Curt shackle hitch I keep in there all the time but my drop hitch does.

No hitch and my tire pressure is around 50 all the way around. It's a rattling feeling that transmits through the steering and gas pedal over broken pavement. Will have to get it checked out. It's a 22 power wagon and the tracking and steering are perfect just the rattle that feels off. When I hit a big dip I don't feel it.

I thought my steering alignment was good on my 21 till I got about 3K miles on it and notice bad tire wear on the outer edge.
Got it checked and toe was out from the factory. Had it aligned using Thurens specs. Also run my tire pressure at 45/37 hot.
Seems to be the best for me. Currently running BFG 35s.

Yeah I swear I hear something as well over conditions as you described but don't necessarily feel anything through the steering wheel.

i get a knocking vibration from rough roads that seems to come from the pedals area. it can be slightly felt up through the steering wheel too. i believe its the brake pedal shaking violently side to side cause i could rest my foot on the side of the pedal and it would stop the vibration. i could also grab the brake pedal and shake it to simulate the noise. 22' PW

I will play with the pressures as that might help. Still definitely feels like something gets a good rattle when I hit the broken stuff. I'm on 315 mickey thompsons

That is a possibility. I'll see if I can test that. It's just a bit disconcerting to feel that rattle every once and a while and feel like something might be loose. If that's all it is then so be it.

yeah i thought my suspenion came apart and was knocking/rubbing against the floorboard under my foot lol. When you test, try putting some pressure on the side of the pedal or lift the pedal with your left foot. becareful ;)
