Rattle Noise In Cab

Took a video of my rattle this morning, turns out they paved half the section of road i can usually hear it really well on, but you can still hear it pretty good. It sounds very different in person, but maybe you guys who have had the body mounts changed can comment if it sounds the same.

Mine is also exactly the same and very annoying. Haven't brought it up to the dealer yet because I see that there's no fix and don't want to hear BS from them.

I'd bring it in with a copy of the starcase letter posted elsewhere in the thread. That's what i just did recently to make sure I'm on the list to get the redesigned body mount as soon as it comes out.

Hello everyone,

Recently there has been a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB #23-032-20) released that appears to address concerns similar to the symptoms that are described in this thread. To ensure this TSB applies, please schedule an appointment with your dealer to have a qualified technician review the details of the TSB and specifics of your vehicle. Once reviewed, the technician can then perform the repair procedure that best matches the symptoms and diagnosis of your vehicle. Great news, just called my dealer and they're ordering the parts for me right away.

Just called my local dealership about this TSB, I brought my truck in on 2 November 2020 for a rattling/clunking noise and they couldn't figure it out. I asked them to take another look at it and referenced this TSB, they were pretty adamant that my truck probably does not have the issue...without even looking at the truck. Guess I'll just be driving over there and talking to the manager.

Here is the whole TSB.
thank you Sir!

What I cannot figure out is my dealer replaced the mounts once, and they kept commenting what a big job it was. They kept my truck a week or more if memory serves. This is showing about a 2 hour repair.

It is a very easy repair. Maybe they had issue getting parts with covid and all.

Is this rattle different than the clunk over off camber approach or departure.

Mine still has that pretty bad.

It is. This one feels and sounds like it comes from the back corner of the cab, mine on the passenger side. Almost like the back end of the cab has too much movement on rough roads and actually sounds like a refrigerator compressor kicking on/off.

Not sure how new these mounts are but I had mine replaced in June July and they still rattle anyone confirm they are new version that.

Part number listed in tsb is different. Ends in f, so I think that makes it the 4th redesign. Let’s hope they got it right this time.

Anyone get the new mounts confirm noise is gone for good not like mine when I got replaced in June gone for a few hundred then came back... I can't get a part number from dealer or ram cares... Not listed on receipt either so we will see if they are different

Mine are on order. Should take a week or so to get them according to dealer. Probably looking at around the 2 week of Dec.
