Rattle Noise In Cab

Just took my 2021 Laramie in on Tuesday.
Day 1: We found the problem, need to order a body mount
Day 2: Replaced body mount, still rattles, need to order another
Day 3: See day 2.

I asked why they didn't just order all the mounts immediately and then send back the ones they don't use. Response was that FCA is rationing distribution of them so they can't order anything until "the engineers" approve it. At least the dealer is offering me a loaner if it's not done by noon Friday. It's mind-blowing that this same problem has been going on for literally years and they haven't solved it.

I've discovered a low rattling noise coming from the driver's side vent next to the window. I think it's more profound at highway speeds. I thought at first it might be speaker-related but ruled that out. I believe it's the vent because when I apply pressure (push) to the vent the noise stops. Has anyone experienced this? The vent itself doesn't seem loose but it's definitely coming from the vent.

I replaced my cab mounts this summer. The noise came back. I then watched the video shared again of the cab mount noise. I thought I would give an idea I've had a chance. I removed the bolt from the rear driverside mount. Then I put bearing grease in the tube where the bolt goes. I also put grease on the washer where it touches the mount. So far, no more noise. I took it out to rough roads and it isn't making the noise. I'll circle back after a few days.

I have had this issue since I purchased my Truck new. 2020 RAM 2500 Mega Cab 6.7L. I took it in to dealer with 2K miles, before the TSB came out about the cab mounts. This first visit, I was told "all the new models sound like that" not a month after the first service visit the TSB comes out for cab mounts. Three different dealerships have replaced the cab mounts and body isolators 3 separate times. The first time they broke the tabs on the nuts that support the mounts and the truck had to be taken to a body shop for repair. FCA hasn't been much help at all. None of these fixes worked. Every time I would take the truck in, I would get the "We couldn't reproduce the noise" BS. each time I made sure to take the tech for a ride and produce the noise and each time the tech would say "Wow that's horrible". The tech could see the origination of the noise with their pico scope or electronic ears and verified by driving that the noise is still present. I was told by FCA yesterday that there was nothing else they could do and that I needed to take it up with the dealer. I have fought this for a solid year and a half, at this point I think FCA's only job is to provide stall tactics until my warranty expires. I saved my hard earned money for years to purchase this truck, which I love except for the incessant rattle. I paid full price, I should get a new trouble free vehicle. In total my truck has been in the service shops for over a month and a half, and still no resolve. I have had enough frustration and will be looking into pursuing the lemon law.
I just purchased a brand new 2024 Ram 2500 Mega Cab 6.7L & it sounds like I have the same issue. My truck has been at the dealer for 2 weeks & they can’t fix it. Did you ever get your truck fixed?

I had 8000 miles on my 2019 2500 6.4 4x4 when I purchased it, the truck rattled & clunked when I went over washboard sections from day one . I recently saw the Ram 2500 YouTube video showing the rear cab mount rattling when hitting washboards I noticed the cab mount bolt seemed too long allowing the mount too jump around causing the rattling. I came up with a home grown fix by removing both rear cab mount bolts and the big black washer also and placing some heavy rubber matting between the cab mount and the big black washer on both rear cab mounts and retorquing bolts back to 85 ft pounds. By doing this I took away the gap between the washer and the mount not allowing the mount to jump up and down over rough surfaces
, no more clunking now if I could only figure out how to stop the Squealing noise on cold starts I would be a happy camper!
Is your fix still working? My 2024 Ram 2500 has been at the dealer for 2 weeks for the same sound

I just bought a 2024 2500 and am having a clunk, rattle while going slow over certain bumps - sounds to me like front right suspension from inside the cab but at times sounds like its coming from the right rear... Is this similar to what you are hearing? Been at the dealer a few times so far and they are stumped.

found my rattle noise, finally... the coolant stand pipe seems to vibrate excessively which causes the heater hoses to carry those vibes through the firewall, which makes it sounds like it's coming from inside the dash. finally!!!
I hunted for this for a couple of months. It started as kind of a shudder/rumble/growl when shifting into 3rd gear under a load. I was starting to think it was a problem in the Aisin. I had a tech ride with me and he thought it was coming from the firewall in front of the passenger side. I finally thought it might be the stand pipe/heater hoses going through the firewall. I put a zip tie just slightly snug around them to keep them from vibrating and Eureka, the noise is gone. Guess I'll try to keep her for another hundred thousand miles.

Do you have a picture of where you put this zip tie

I have a 2024 6.4 2500. I too have the rattle/clink from right rear cab area. I’m wondering if anyone has had any luck fixing this on 2024 models?

Update: This is the dealer fix that was done to my truck so far so good

Per the receipt from Ram, says see service supervisor, there are sop parts, contacted Chryslers Field Tech about concern, advised to replace rear cab mount with updated cab mount design.

Thought I saw this posted up somewhere but couldnt find it. Truck is a 19 4x4 Ram 2500 Diesel. Any small jolt to the truck while driving, theres a rattle which sounds like its coming from the back somewhere. Ive tried folding the seat up and down, banging on stuff to see if i can hear the sound. tried buckling up the seat belts but nothing. Finally took it off pavement yesterday, and the sound is horrible. Anyone else experiencing this? I figure ask here before taking it in, and the dealer keeping my truck for a day and saying its normal.

Also the truck once in awhile makes a consistent 3 tick sound from the engine compartment. I feel like it only does it when its cold. But it doesnt always make the sound. Kind of mad at the dealer, I was down the street from the dealer and it started doing it. So i pulled up to the service department and asked the tech to come out so he could hear it, and said no and i need to make an appointment. ( Really grinds my gears how lazy people are, and how ****ty customer service is. Youre getting paid to do a job, do your job.)
I have a 2022 Ram 2500 Tradesman. I thought the same with mine and after many days at dealership and many parts replaced it never went away. I did eventually find it.
It was the back of the driver side B pillar at roof splices was not crimped all the way and filler was vibrating. It drove me nuts. I took a pair of channel locks and crimped and bent as best i could. No more rattle.
