Ram's Holding Some Late November to Early December (Possibly More) Orders Due to Quality Issue (threads merged)

Rest assured I will know the answer. Mine is suppose to be in next week.

The saga continues...picked up my truck yesterday, ordered 12/5. After a nearly 2 month delay due to a “quality inspection”, today I get a “service air suspension immediately” warning. I get under the truck to check everything out and this is what I find...blown driver’s air bag. The truck has 115 miles. Obviously I haven’t towed anything yet, I haven’t even gotten through break in. I called roadside to get it towed back to the dealership and they tell me they can’t find it in the system under the VIN and since it doesn’t show under Chrysler’s insurance, they can’t tow it at this point! Obviously I’ll be calling the dealership in the morning. I cannot believe this...AC001BA9-5457-4D01-B5AB-10394050A912.jpeg87C16956-F722-4FCA-A78A-81B3E981465F.jpegE00AF412-7BEF-49BB-9838-5B5D666FA984.jpegC2C020C1-8B44-45FC-8D11-BBDA0D4BB3AD.jpeg

You should've found out the quality issue before taking delivery. Mine however did not come with the airbags, so that would not be the issue.

Looks like my truck that has 6500 miles not a brand new one

It means what it says. This thread is about trucks that have gone missing for 2 months. So far no one has had the balls to demand where they have been before taking delivery.
Make sure have a hidden video rolling when you demand the answers.

i think its unlikely we find the answer. I think the dealership wont even know the answer and given the truck market right now it will be better for the dealer if we walk, because he can sell it for more.

The thought crossed my mind with my "railyard theft" issue -- i bet he can sell the truck for full MSRP and pocket an extra 7k compared to our original agreed upon price.

I kind of agree. Truck looks outstanding from the shot at the dealership. That undercarriage shot shows rust everywhere. Not cool for 100 miles.

When they put it on the lift to fix the airbag ask him to pressure wash the underneath, that’s what I would do.

That's what I was thinking. That truck has more surface rust on the under carriage then my 2016 does?

.
Don’t know what to say other than the fact that I ordered it 12/5, it came from Mexico to IL, sat at the rail yard for 3 weeks and then went back to TX for a quality check and the came back to IL and finally to IN on 3/26. The weather has been crap but...?

Is that tire ok? It may be the pic but there is something up with the sidewall right where the wheel damage occured. It is very possible the tire was danged as well. Just make sure it is checked at least. Hate to see yah have a blowout.

Right below the 60
