RamBox Bed Cargo Divider

I dont remember if there was paint on mine. But i know they went right in without any issues. Any chance they are just misaligned. I know there is that plastic piece that you pop the covers out of.
I discovered that the entire piece of plastic that covers the holes slides out and comes right off. Just pull it from the bottom across the bed and it will come right out along with the tab inserts that cover the holes. Nothing is holding it up too. You can clearly see the nuts that receive the new screw attachments when it’s removed. I’ve tried both sides and all the holes without luck. Same thing, they won’t thread on entirely. It feels like the wrong threading or just the wrong size. Very strange but since it’s not OEM, I guess shouldn’t be surprised. Bad luck for me I guess. Time to bite the bullet and get some OEM parts.

Hey quick question, does the cargo divider only work for Rams with the RamBox? I don't have the RamBox but would like to use the cargo divider.
I was wondering the same thing. Have you found the answer?

as @Eatonpcat said, I would also assume you need the ram boxes on the sides of the bed for the cargo management system (divider and slots) to work.
I make this assumption based on when building a Laramie and you select the RamBox utility group which only shows the divider and slots for $295, it automatically adds the RamBox Cargo management system which only shows the boxes for $995.
You can add the RamBox cargo managemtn system (side boxes) and the RamBox utility group (divider) does not automatically get added. You can choose to add it though. But what I'm getting at is that is seems the divider and slots require the side boxes to be present.

Likewise when building a Limited, the ram boxes are standard, and it shows the divider as well, but when you do the RamBox delete, both the boxes AND the divider and slots disappear on the picture.

Kind of a bummer because I would love to have the divider and slots as well as the bed extender option with tail gate down, but I absolutely do not want the side boxes. They make the bed smaller and I've seen a couple instances first hand where the lids for the boxes do not close straight. They close, but the gap is misaligned.

At minimum I wish I could add the adjustable tie down cleats that slide forward and backward in the rail system. Seems like that would not require the side boxes to work, but I figure there is an aftermarket kit to get that, and I can get it if needed down the road.

If anyone in the Phoenix area wants a great deal on the Rambox divider shoot me a PM!
