Morning All! I just recently purchased a 2025 Ram 2500 6.4 Hemi. I am noticing that the gas gauge on the truck and the app do not line up. Currently I am showing about 50% tank left while the app is saying 37%. Is this normal? Is the truck gauge reliable in making sure I don’t run the gas too low. Thanks!

Interesting, I'll have to check that! I've found the truck gauge to be accurate but it is annoying that Miles To Empty switches to LOW after I think maybe 50 or 30 miles remaining.

Keep the app open for a min or so - it will update. Mine will show less initially then update to the correct reading. Needs to talk to your truck to update.

Hmm, I would trust the gas gauge in the truck before the app, that being said, go fill your truck up. If you have the 6’4” bed you have a 31 gallon tank and should get 15.5ish gallons. If you don’t, you’ll know you have a gas gauge problem.

So it definitely updates, to not the same amount that truck gauge shows.

I think I’ll let it get a bit lower and then refill. Hopefully that’ll tell me what I need to know. I hope it’s just that there is a difference between the two but the truck is more accurate.

I have never really seen significant difference between the app, the truck would be accurate.

Is your trial period over for the app? I don't think it will update if the trial period is over.

Nope. Only in the first 3 weeks of the trial.

Mine still updates with the trial period over and no subscription services added. The Nav functions and some of the other trial functions don't show up in the app anymore, but fuel gauge is still there, and updates.
