Rain sensitive wipers issue

Hey all- 2022 Laramie with the 2GH package.

My rain sensitive wiper cycle all on their own- with nothing on the windshield. They will cycle with rain or lost, but it's sporadic.

Anyone else had this issue?
 
Mine does that and I’ve documented the symptoms associated with the problem in another post. I’ve replaced the gel pack, the sensor and another gel pack, and checked the settings (with Alpha OBD) against another trucks settings that happens to function as they should.
 
I have mine set to ON in the UConnect setup and a biblical type rainstorm will not trigger the wipers to run automatically. Not a big enough deal for me to have my truck at the dealer for a week only to find out they can't find any issues.
 
The only reason I bitch about mine not working is probably because I paid for it. If I wanted a Big Horn, I’d have bought one. This, along with the front sensors that go haywire when the rear sensors are off and the hvac system that seems to have a mind of its own are the reasons I contemplate going back to 2nd Gen. or, a Ford.
 
Mine have done it sporadically with a dry windshield, not very often though.

I rode with a friend a couple months ago and his cycled on a dry windshield fairly routinely.

All the others I’ve had before worked flawlessly; 11 Durango 17 Durango RT, and 17 Laramie Limited.
This 19 Laramie has some bugs.
 
I get it that's a feature/option that should be working properly that you paid for. According to the guy that replaces all the windshields in the company's trucks I work for requires the truck's serial number so he can get right windshield for the tech package the truck came with. I had no idea changing a windshield for newer vehicles was that complicated now.

There's a TSB (flash) that includes this symptom? Have you had this completed?
 
Do yourself a favor and turn it off in uConnect and use RainX instead. I turned that feature off on my 22 Ltd Longhorn before I left the dealers lot. I'm not a fan. But I use RainX every time I wash the truck.
 
Rain X is a great product after you buff the haze it leaves away, I use it myself. Now that Brutal mentioned a TSB, I am going to ask about it when I take the truck in for other recall work. It's an option that should work properly whether you decide not to use it or not.

Just having the setting turned on in the radio settings is only one part of activating them. You also need to turn the windshield wiper switch on to one of the intermittent detents.

I use Rain-X washer fluid and Bosch icon (or factory) blades and get the same results.

As stated in the thread, the issue I was having (hands on wheel) was fixed by a flash that was rolled up into another larger TBS (sorry don't have that number) that included the park sense issue. Dealer should be able to cross-ref from the one in this post:
