Radio Presets Keep Resetting

Anyone else experiencing their presets always resetting? Everytime I set my radio presets they are gone within a couple of days. Extremely annoying.

Yep - count me in and I'm talking the 12-inch Uconnect gizmo. Occurs with AM, FM and SIRIUS/XM. I don't always have the radio turned up or on when out and about but on probably half the occasions I did crank it up within the past three months, all I got was static - all presets gone!

I had this issue and was ready to take it in. You have to go under xm satellite radio and login into your user name. Once u do this it will save.

Interesting. But what does SIRIUS/XM have to do with AM and FM presets? And what if one chooses to not retain their service once the one year trial is up?

I didn’t realize it was am fm presets. Not sure about those. Sorry.

I had the same issue until I realized it was in "demo" mode. Once I got out of that, the presets remained for Sirius, AM & FM.

Had the dealer investigate the issue with no fault found. Up to date S/W and no TSBs. There was some mention of a STAR case related to the memory switches, which will store two (2) seat,/mirror/radio preferences and that was confirmed to be working. Got home and noted that the seat was not positioned precisely where I set it previously so made an adjustment and... instant static from the the radio. Presets were gone again! Hmmm... Pondered this a bit and fer sh_ts and giggles, stabbed the memory button applicable to my seat/mirror/radio preference. Lo and behold, presets are back. FFS, ain't technology grand! Gonna muck it with some more but I'm thinking that the seat/mirror/radio memory feature is at the root of the issue.

I think you are on to the issue. I had to mess with the memory a couple times as my GF's radio presets kept showing up when I'd unlock/use my memory. Kicker is it also remembers what you're currently listening to when you save the memory. (at least from my experience) So if you tweak your mirrors or seat settings and then save again, you may change the radio station that you're listening to every time you start the truck.

Takes some getting used to as it also remembers the source. Which, isn't bad but... when the source is blue tooth, it doesn't remember the app. So, if I accidentally save while listening to audible, I may get back in the truck at 5am and be listening to my workout mix. No need for coffee at least...

Haven't tested this out yet but, anyone know if the trucks can sense tow mirror vs normal in terms of the memory presets? IE will it move my mirrors to tow position rather than me having to reset them every time I get back in the truck when towing?
