Hey everyone, I'm in the process of specing out and ordering a 3500 Longhorn Mega cab. I want to take it to Utah and have them put a long bed on it. But with the redesigned frame and air suspension. I'm afraid it's going to be a big hassle to get it done. Has anyone considered putting a long bed on their new mega cab?

I haven't seen anyone doing a MCLB for a while. There was also a shop in Texas doing them IIRC. Might as well do Kelderman 4-corner and disable the factory air bags ;)

Here is a Mega Cab longbed conversion.(4th Gen) I myself would like one, but out of my price range.

Stretchmytruck.com does these conversions. I can not imagine how the new frame would hinderthis much at all. Even the bed is the same, making it even easier.

That's the company that I'm taking my ram to. I sent them a email asking them how they'll do it with the new frame and rear air suspension.

Really do not sesee it as a problem. They extend and reinforce the frame at the long stretch under the cab.

They would have to extend electrical and air lines, and fabricate a longer driveshaft.

Not much else would change.

Very interested to hear what they say, and anxiously awaiting the arrival of it.
