Have a 2500 Rebel with about 1250 miles. She did something weird. The automatic trailer detection indicator came on when I started the truck and stayed on until I shut her off. Upon the next restart that indicator light was off. The next startup it hesitated and stuttered like she was starved for fuel or the battery or starter was going bad. Then she died. I tried to start her and the truck started right up like nothing had happened. Weird. I have a service appointment on the 15th of Dec for her first oil change and the delaminating of the dash. Guess I will add this to the list and have them check it out. I don’t have a code reader so if she threw a code I don’t know.

Pop the hood and check your fuse box, I found on mine many of the fuses were not completely seated. I just took a screw driver and gave each a good push down, quite a few were not down all the way. Dealer told me these trucks are shipped with only a few fuses installed, Dealer installs most, safety/shipping thing I guess.

Grey, thank you for your post. I went out this morning and checked all my fuses and I would say 75% of them were not completely seated. They are now.

Makes you want to mutter a few dirty words doesn't it. My grill louvers weren't acting right, yep fuse half in. Mumble dirty rotten mutter mutter.

I did as suggested and discovered the vast majority of my fuses were not seated completely so I took a screwdriver and ensured each one was seated. So far she has not had the issue again. Fingers crossed.
