Price negotiated from MSRP

So that went not well. They are willing to go 1% below invoice per the affiliate program but then offered me 44k for my truck which is worth minimum 48k. They came up to 45k and I walked out. Time to go to another dealer. My truck has 11,000 miles on it. I get that they are in it to make money but they would easily make 7-8k on that trade alone. Not taking into account the fact that 1% below invoice is no where near normal. I paid 6% below in 2019. At least meet me in the middle.
So check the sites I mentioned. They'll all give you quotes online, instantly. It'll take you 20 minutes, nothing to lose.

I checked with the online sites when I was selling my 2018 Limited in late May/June. They ALL came back with RIDICULOUSLY LOW (Below Wholesale) offers based on book value at the time. I ended up selling it to a local Ford Dealer for $10-15K MORE than the on-line clowns were offering. Sold it for $64K, bought it new in 2018 for $61K. Ordered new 2022 from Sandi @Mark Dodge for 12% below invoice.

12% below MSRP right? Otherwise I’m gonna need to know what kind of flowers you bought her for a deal like that.

I made a deal with Aaron for 12% off msrp, and ended up with 14.25% off, after an additional $1000 rebate at the time of delivery.

Huh, that's pretty interesting. We sold our Subaru on there a few months back and had the opposite experience. Got a check that was heavy over KBB values, and double what I was willing to take, lol.

Saw posts across here, 5thGenRams, and Facebook of others having very good experiences as well. Still doesn't hurt to try. It's free, and only takes minutes to find out. Can fill out the forms while taking your morning ****, and if the offers suck, you didn't really lose much.

Sandi already said I’d get an additional $500 off at delivery for Military Retired. I’m hoping to also get the $1,000 off for the PenFed voucher. We’ll see. Either way, I’m WAY happy with the deal I got thru Sandi. These local jackass dealers couldn’t/wouldn’t even try.

I think those should stack. When I was finalizing my deal/signing paperwork, my dealer asked me if I was military, a farmer, and one other thing. I unfortunately wasn't.

The PenFed does take 60 days, so hopefully you're either already a member or will be for 60 days prior to delivery.

Already a member. Thanks

It’s the same now. Offers are brutally low. Not close to what they are selling for or what kbb shows. I have a few other dealers I am meeting with today. I am confident they will go better.

2018 CCSB Limited Cummins with 26,300 miles. I took several good pictures of the inside & outside of the truck, VIN Plate, odometer, then sent them to several (most) of the new car dealers and a few of the high-end used dealers in my area. Also tried 2 or 3 of the on-line car buyers. I received ~10-12 offers ranging from ~$51K - $64K. The lowest offers I received were from the on-line companies/buyers. The closest local RAM dealer offered $60K. Sold it to a local Ford dealer for $64K.

Worst experience ever. Met sales manager who looked at me and said "just so you know, I hope you got something to drive because If you trade it in you trade it today. That's how we order trucks around here"

I walked out

Yeah that's what I'm seeing from these threads. Just spoke with Sandi and sent her my build. What's the average deduction off invoice at Mark Dodge?

Do you have a contact email or phone number for Sandi? Is she the best point of contact over there for building your own truck?

Yep, she'll get you taken care of, has been awesome. Mention you found out about them from HDRams, she's received a lot of business from here.

Thank you! I sent an online contact request and heard back from a guy named CJ.... but I'll try getting in touch with Sandi.
Yeah, you definitely want to work with Sandi. Avoid the other sales peeps, they just want to steal Sandi's sales.

WOW. I wouldnt have said a word, I would have literally laughed in his face and just stood up and left.

Is Aaron Ginsburgh not still at Mark Dodge? His direct email was easily available, and was the go to go only a few months ago.

Nothing against Sandi, but surely someone should have her actual email. No idea why you'd have to start with a generic email to their entire online team.

Went and got Aaron's contact info. He is the Mark Dodge OG.

We should really make a thread here similar to the one on 5thgenrams by SilentBob with the preferred dealers, rebates, etc. A copy and paste would be sufficient for the most part.
