Ahh, gotcha. LA sales tax can be as high as 9% in some parishes. Mark Dodge is ~5 hours from me. I can rent an Avis rental car one-way for about $50. :oops:

I'll ping Aaron and see what he can do once I've exhausted my local dealers. Just started the process yesterday with a test drive of a 3500 MC SRW HO. The dealer would only agree to invoice minus 1/2 holdback but I'd get any deals available at delivery. No deposit needed though which was nice. I am not ordering at that deal in hopes a better deal and rebates are available at delivery. Thanks for the lead.
 
I must be in the wrong stste.. I get ep price ,but the best I've ever done was 1000 under that.. plus rebates.. that was buying off the lot.... that's a great deal..

That's good deal, especially if it didn't require a lot of pushing from your side. And the guy may get some repeat orders as a result.
 
+1 joining the fun. Negotiated price is 12.25% under MSRP and I can add any rebates or incentives at the time of delivery if available. Reading through the thread maybe I could have gotten another 1% or so but this is a local dealer and I won't have to bother with shipping or flight/hotel/long drive etc.
 
SoCal dealers mostly saying no discount on an ordered 3500 Limited. One is offering 4.5% off one on their lot but seems fishy... I don’t see the truck in their stock. Thinking they just want us to drive over.

anyone in CA getting much on an ordered 3500 Limited?
 
2020 Power Wagon, fully loaded, 61k, sticker was 73k and msrp build on rams site was ~68k, all before ttl of course

I am putting a deposit down on an ordered 3500 Laramie HO SRW LB today. 10% off MSRP. Hoblit in Woodland CA.

Who did you speak with? I spoke with them a month ago and they told me they didn't do any dealer discounts on custom builds. They are my local dealer and would be my first choice to order from if they were competitive to Idaho dealers. Looking for almost the same truck you described except SB

I tried to deal with Hobbit and all the other northern Calif dealers. Best I could do was 8% off MSRP. Ended up going with Mark Dodge in Lake Charles LA for 12.5% Even with having truck shipped out here its a better price.

MY 2016 is a 50 state legal vehicle. Bought it in Oregon, and had to have it smog certified before DMV would license it. Another California scam.

Interesting. So circa 2006 I wanted an Avalanche and the only one that had “my” options was in AZ. It was fun. We road tripped out there in my M3, traded it, brought new Avalanche home.

months later went to register it. Nope. It was a “49 state car”. Cannot be sold new in CA. DMV black listed it. Didn‘t I feel like an ******* in the DMV parking lot. My American car was an illegal immigrant, wife pissed, M3 gone.

I called the dealer and told them they own this. How could they not know. Threatened to call my lawyer (I don‘t have a lawyer).

long story short, they were AutoNation. They told me to take it to any autonation dealer I want, and they’ll work it out as a “trade” but cover my full payoff. bought an X5 at Valencia BMW.

anyway, learned my lesson. No buying new cars across state lines!
 
What dealers are dealing in DFW? Best I have seen so far is $10k below msrp on $75k sticker.

Well...after 17 weeks my truck is supposed to be at dealer tomorrow and be picking it up this Sunday from them.
Finally got my price, there are NO incentives for the '21 at this exact time except the $1500 bonus offer i have (i also got a $1000 one but was only allowed to use one...?) According to my dealer

Here's my window sticker, and here's what dealer just sent me...FFP essentially, comes out to $4000 off msrp, plus my $1500 bonus figures to 9% of msrp....only thing I don't particularly "care" for is the $799 administration fee seems kinda high, and also a "title handling fee" lol ....no? Regardless im not going to cry over a thousand or 2 after this long of a wait...and plus im just tickled pink to not have a cp4.2.
