That's great to be able to use the big market dealers to drive down local pricing. Mark Dodge had an $18k discount on my truck - too good to pass on TBH!

With April a day away and diesel (and petrol) prices surging nationwide, I'm hoping there will be some big discounts and incentives over the next month. Prices are a far cry from when I purchased my Sierra 1500 diesel at the beginning of 2024 when MSRP was basically as good as it got.

As an update to this... April appears to have identical incentives to March. Trucks are continuing to pile up on lots with more arriving weekly. I have a spreadsheet tracking about 60 various trucks around the eastern portion of the US, and I'm finding many have been sitting since October-December 2025. I'm wondering what people have been negotiating off of MSRP, because I'm not having much success. Perhaps I just suck at the process.

27 arrivals will motivate

I believe Granger motors in Iowa has very similar pricing as mark Dodge
We priced our '25 3500 through mark Dodge and took the quote to our local dealer. Saved me over $3K

I was on hold with Granger on 2 separate occasions and never got through to anyone.

As far as price matching, a lot of dealers will but you still have to get the price from Mark Dodge, if the dealer won't offer that to begin with, it's kinda shady. I don't mind driving either.

But this discussion is more appropriate on the Price Negotiated Thread.

What's the benefit to building and ordering with the dealership Mark Ram in Lake Charles?

what others have said along with what most would consider quicker turn around times since the transport trucks have a shorter distance than most for delivery and since they are a volume dealer, there won't be any "waiting on more vehicles to complete a load".

they also price their stock inventory the same so you may find something on their lot that matches what you're looking for...

granted they probably get a lot of tire kickers getting quotes, but they turn them around quick and you get the best price up front. was at a small town dealership a while back and a couple of their sales guys asked where i got my dually, when I told them Mark Dodge they just laughed and said is that the place that sells them with crazy discounts....
