Price negotiated from MSRP

On the job rebate. $500. It was $1000 last year and prior. I’m self employed and use my trucks for business.

No, conquest cash is $500. This has been around since 2018. You have to be leasing or financing(possibly) a competitor vehicle. I lease a Toyota car and they said bring in the contract from Toyota and I can qualify for the $500 conquest cash back.

2019 Ram 2500 Cummings 4x4 crewcab LB Sport loaded

MSRP $75,330
-rebates from Ram? None yet
-Got Dealer price
=$68,900 On delivery

Hillsboro, OR. Ordered April 2019

I just signed off on my build sheet for a 2500 Limited 6.4 Mega, and I am getting Invoice - $1,500, less any rebates at the time of delivery. This works out to around 10% off MSRP, plus whatever rebates I can pull off in July, most likely. I am also getting a pretty fair price for my trade, which is $1,500 more than any other dealer is willing to give me. So I am content.

Just signed off on my Limited build. I believe this to be a good price. 500 above holdback minus any rebates and incentives. Essentially 10k off of msrp as of June. I’ve ordered from these guys before and this will be my third ram from them, they’ve always come through for me.

Any rumors of July incentives? My 3500 should be in next week but may wait till July 2 to get it. Right now I only have a 500 bonus cash and it expires July 1 so I am thinking that’s maybe when something new comes out.

Planning to sign off of on my build tonight, everything looks correct, but I need to double check it once I get home. This is from a dealer that is semi-local, 1.5hrs away.

Your is almost like mine. Invoice minus dealer hold back plus $47500 trade on 2016 same truck.

If you guys are getting all of their hold back plus incentives where are the dealers making money?
They aren’t unless they are getting extra incentive by selling units from Chrysler. Once they hit 80-100 units then they do get 2nd kickback from Manufacturers. That’s why they get extra creative to hit numbers at end of month to get kickback. Plus they also get kickback on financing, warranties, and also on Trades. They hope to sell for more. For example my 2016 books out at $53.400 retail. Offered me $45,700. That’s why I’m trying to sell mine at $49,900 until new one comes in and have them do an in and out trade so I get tax savings and I got financing all lined up at 3.15% for 48 months so my dealer not making ANYTHING except on service.

That's awesome. So it works out to around 11% off MSRP prior to TT&L for a build. If I'm buying off the lot would it make sense to shoot for a deeper discount than 11%?

what dealer?
Several dealers down here in Texas. Don Davis Dodge is great, Grapevine Chrysler Dodge and Dodge Country in KILLEEN Tx is great. Allen Samuels Dodge in Waco he did a great deal this time, but I told him I will be back next year to buy something new for my 17 year old for graduation and he already said it won’t be this good of deal. Claims he won’t make anything. Of course I laughed and said ok, won’t buy here next year then.

I bought the truck in my sig at NWjeep in the Portland area. Price was 6% below invoice and rebates off of that. All with no haggling. Quick and easy process.
However with the new ram's today they seem less willing to deal. I can get 1% below invoice with my work discount but am looking to get a bit more off of that to secure wife approval.
Anybody getting any decent deals on ordering a 2019 Ram 3500 in the portland area?

Purchase quickly. They want them on the road fast. Best advertising their is. Once they get them out there dealers won’t be as aggressive. They have had back to back quarters of sales. Up over last years numbers by 85%.
