Premium Speakers

Ordered my 2023 Ram 5500 Reg cab SLT couple weeks ago. Decided to get the “Premium Speakers” as an option. How good are these speakers compared to standard? The pic shows Alpine if I remember correctly. How many speakers and where they go into my regular cab besides the door panel? For $295 I figured why not, add them lol.

Ive had both the alpine and now have the harmon kardon, I cant tell the difference. Not bad for a factory set up.

Yea, I’m expecting to be pleased with it. I prefer good Mids n Highs over bass nowadays.

The bass was a little heavy in the doors for me. It seems like you get more bass from the door speakers than the underseat sub. Too much rattling of the various knives, and doo dads I had in the door pockets. Turned it down a little in the eq settings and it's fine. Sounds good for a factory system. My buddy that's super into audio said it's "not bad" so good enough for me.

Be aware you lose 2/3 of your underseat storage with the subwoofer.
