I did not see any bears this time but did run into a herd of Big Horn sheep. The rear trailer wheel is a step/recovery point/ roller wheel for lift the rear end drags. More for hard rock running and bad departure angles.View attachment 88725

The company that makes the wheel hitch is Broken Rock. They have been making them for Jeeps in a 2 inch for a while. I got the first 2 5/16th hitch sized that they made.

I ended up at 8500 feet today after a good rocky climb.

Tried to do some fall exploring, but ended up in snow. Had to turn back in several places but eventually made it up to 11k ft.

These are Kill Devil Hills Ocean Rescue's power wagons. Driven a LOT along the ocean front. They like them and say they perform well. Running about 18 pounds of pressure in the tires. (this pic is from 2022)
